The Republic is already broken, and has since the Supreme Court gave our voice to corporations and the wealthy elite with the Citizens United decision. The elimination of the Fairness Doctrine by a Reagan veto enabled propaganda outlets to flourish. Now we are clearly in an era of American Fascism.
