I'm 65 and just had my picture done for renewal of passport and driving licence. According to the picture, I seem to have died some years ago.

The difference between 30 and 40 though is astonishing. It can't have helped that this has been a decade marked by severe chronic pain and injuries.

I had a new passport arrive a couple days ago. Did not realise when I sent the photo in how sunken my eyes look.

Also it's blue and that makes me sad.
