All my life I’ve been preaching the danger of Russia to every foreigner I’ve been in touch with. I almost always received the “ugh, if only this Georgian would calm down, no one cares, and Russia is a receding power anyway” looks/vibes.

The rest of us kept repeating the same mistakes, over & over, naively wanting to believe the Russian mafia state would ever do anything but work to destroy us all.

The leadership struggle in Georgia makes it more complicated, but the vast majority of people in Georgia keep strongly voicing their desire to be part of the EU, and need support 🇬🇪🇪🇺
