Update: Luna has been admitted to the hospital for 24 hours. She is severely dehydrated & the vet said her blood is basically sludge right now. We're going to visit her later today.
Hi #CorgiCrew & friends.
Luna's health has worsened. All day she has had diarrhea about every hour. She is now throwing up. We are at an emergency veterinary clinic. They are running tests-bloodwork, x-rays etc. If you could just keep Luna in your thoughts, we'd be grateful.

Will do.
Did you know what caused Missy to get sick? Cause the doctors were stumped.
The ER vets treated Luna with the same things. We are still giving her the anti-diarrheal, pain meds and probiotics.
I'm glad you were able to find out what was wrong & Missy is well.
At the emergency vet too while we waited for them to take her in. They were so polite about it though.
I think they started with a fast acting shot, then switched over to the catheter. I'm just glad it seems to be over.π£
Luna has a delicate stomach, she was on a special kibble. But we're looking for another brand.
We're still looking at options, but are leaning towards Wellness as our first corgi did really well on it.
She is home after a day in the hospital.
So far, she is responding well to the medications & lots of rest.
Thank you for checking in & tell Hazel: Bark bark barooo!
Which means 'thanks fren!"
(Also, I friggin LOVE this photo-it's amazing!)
Hope you & Hazel have a great day!β€οΈ
We hear from them around 12 when they re-test her. They also said we can visit whenever we want.
We're both total wrecks at the moment, just waiting to hear back from the vet soon.
No idea why she got so sick so suddenly. They're running more tests & we'll hear from the dr. Around noonish.
Keep us all posted.
