Pedestrians don't understand the empathy it takes to be a driver. When you step behind the wheel, when you merge with the beast and your body is steel and your blood is fire, it takes a saint to hold back the devil.

Surely empathy required to be a careful and considerate driver?
It sadly outlines the problem that any drivers who do operate with care and considering can be seen as saints rather than the minimum required standard to drive.
It takes a pure heart to hold onto your soul when you see fragile little bags of guts on the sidewalk and know it'd just take a flick of your godly wrist to start the fireworks.
