Because @schumer.senate.gov and @pelosi.house.gov are doing such a bang up job. Incumbents need to be challenged. They get comfy and they stop working for you. See Fascist Dictatorship Party as an example.
It’s not about incumbents. The goal should be to flip GOP seats. If Dems don’t have a majority- primarying candidates won’t get Dems anything. It’s simple math.
Hogg has never demonstrated a win in a purple district. It’s a flawed strategy.
We also haven't tried to do much of anything. I agree with flipping those GOP slots but if in generally Dem won places we can't get more active people in? That would be a win too.
I have been voting for a LONG time & there have been maybe 3-4 times that I was excited about who I voted for. Still I voted. ONCE we had a 3rd viable option (Bush/Clinton/Perot) IF we have elections again I don't think we will see that for decades ahead if ever.
That sucks to hear, I know outside of primaries I generally agree but that is part of the problem. And I still did vote too, but that's why we need change.

Hogg caused this, and I'm glad he's not running again, he needs to grow up before he can be taken seriously
Americans do not want to go further left, they want to go back to the center

That's your selling point?
