i literally almost broke my tv and controller doing that. i fucked it up at like 100 something and i was so mad i went to fling my controller through the tv and realized at the last second and threw it on the bed XD

I did it on the ps2 version and couldn't make it happen on the ps4 version cause modern tvs graphics are too good for timing of the flashes (or something like that) 😭😭😭😭😭

I’ve beaten the game twice and I couldn’t be bothered to do it either time. Frankly, all of the ultimate weapons are a pain in the ass to get. Most of the side quests that you have to do get them are long and cumbersome, and as someone who doesn’t care about Platinum, it’s never appealed to me

I can't even feign outrage, the ultimate weapons in X are an unbearable pain in the ass to get. The lightning, Blitzball, those *fucking birds* in the chocobo race.

The blitzball tournaments!! I found out years later you could just refresh the prizes at the start and not have to keep playing those 10 game leagues until it came up, I lost about 50 hours of my childhood getting world champion

This was the ONLY part of that game I couldn't complete, lost hours being hit by birds on a chocobo and catching butterflies up trees but the thunderbolts was impossible for me
