Honestly!! He's so underrated. Even if you see everything, it's like his backstory was built to lead towards a final Arundel confrontation that there wasn't time to include, so it's only visible if you pick it apart yourself?? Absolutely criminal

Made him an S tier tank unit BUILT for racking up supports, and then only gave him the fewest supports of any character in the game, it's so good 😂 but the ones he has are magical, at least.

I wish in Three Houses he had supports with Edelgard and Hubert at least. Maybe if he was in the game from the start and not a later update. I really appreciate his supports with Constance

he's a truly profound example of how the nobility system has been irreparably broken by crest-based inheritance, and yet he's encouraged/allowed to keep his history secret, even when it might have been more useful for him to 'come out' as the last of the Bartels.

edelgard's questionable methods are more excusable when one considers that they will eventually help prevent a tragedy like jeritza's from ever happening again... but he's allowed to continue living as a hrym, even when the 'jeritza' alias was assoc. with kidnapping/murder itself. it's not "clean".

staying a hrym is a kindness in a lot of ways. we know jeritza killed an unknown number of half-siblings, it makes sense he'd want some mental distance. but what i dont see addressed often enough by dives into his character is that he's an enormously valuable chess piece... but only as a hrym.

jeritza is physically beautiful and brilliant with a sword, and would have no doubt been very successful as a knight, or just as a trophy husband. but the immense trauma of his childhood made him into a monster in every sense of the word, and every drop of it was rooted in crest politics.
