It looks as if the developer is super confident that full permission will still be granted. Didn’t the Council sell some of the land needed for this development? They should be applying ultra-scrupulous conflict of interest standards if so...

Full permission for this development remains outstanding and the developer has been ignoring design advice from the Somerset quality review panel and trying to renege from agreed road layout arrangements.

It is staggeringly incompetent - and unnecessary - for the Council to grant permission to demolish this important hedgerow in this way. Surely the hedge removal approval should have been conditional on the outstanding full permission of the related 162 house development being granted?
