Draco finds Hermione crying on their couch.
"Darling, what's wrong?" He asks, sitting beside her and rubbing her shoulders.
"Nothing. It's stupid." She sobs.
"Hey," he frowns. "It's not. Remember when you made me feel better when I was sad because I can't grow a beard?"

"Alright. So come on, we're married now. Your life is my life, so let me share the burden."
Hermione takes a deep breath, and shows him a book she had hidden between her legs.
"My favourite character just died," she confesses.
"Elijah? No!" He gasps.
She blinks.
"Are you kidding? You talk about him so much I feel like I'm in a throuple."
Hermione winces.
"Sorry. I didn't realize."
"Don't worry, I don't mind at all. I love that guy. Loved." He shakes his head. "Jesus, is he really dead? What happened?"
"His sister!? But why!?"
"It's because she was afraid he would get the inheritance."
"Inheritance?"
"Right, you need more context. Okay, so, in the first book..."
Draco listens to her rambling with a fond smile, happy to see her excited again.
