So Israel's tanks are in Syria NOT because Syria borders Israel, Israel thus has a stake in what goes on in the region, and everything is unstable right now, but because Israel is afraid that (like in Iraq, maybe?), democracy will suddenly break out there overnight after decades of dictatorship?
