A sad day, but it had to happen. Doolan will always be a legend, and I’d love to see him back at Firhill in some capacity, but change was needed just now.

Sad news, but....
His time was up. We desperately need someone who can inject some belief back into the team and unleash the potential undoubtedly there. Let's hope we can get someone who's up for it.

Very sad but over the years I have learned not to get too emotionally attached to any player or manager. It always ends in tears, unfortunately.

Would have preferred giving him the rest of the season. Look at Arteta at Arsenal, and the turnaround there. Amorin at Man U shows the opposite, with a new manager having no impact. This seems an over-reaction.

I hope we can get a decent manager to replace him, and not just give another 'legend' their first management role at Firhill. If Archie and Dools had cut their teeth at smaller clubs and returned with a bit of experience it would have been great. Aren't we too big to have a rookie in charge?
