a while back i went to a live theater for the first time in years, just because all my digital experiences have been diminishing. and supporting local actors and musicians feels better than shoveling money into a few concentrated big-wigs.

I think people's eyes are being opened to what capitalism actually does, and it isn't incentivize better products through competition. That's a myth. I think we might see attitudes shift and as artists we need to hop on this opportunity.

ISPs used to offer free space to publish a website. I grew up on AOL, and remember how cool it was to see my first page (tiled GIF background and all) in the browser.

I built a page using old style HTML a while back, and felt some of that creative spark again. I hope the small web gains momentum!
