I’m not saying not to tell the stories of the immigrants who do not have legal status to be here. Of course we should, but not exclusively. When we talk about race and ethnicity in the US it’s a complex interwoven tale we tell. Let’s remember the Spaniards were colonizers. Let’s say that also.
