I can relate to this so hard. My new place has a 15-day vacation policy, and you get another 5 days after 2 years of service. Meantime... my colleagues in Europe are laughing at all of us.

Epic curbed unlimited PTO in the US and reduced PTO elsewhere to the absolute bare minimum because we weren't cranking Fortnite sh!t fast enough, instead of setting a manageable content schedule. Completely delulu.
This sort of attitude persists when the people running the place thinks people should be thankful for working there - and it is not sustainable in the long term.

I don't know what these C-suite types think they are achieving with these sorts of draconian ideas, but it's counter productive at best.
