Duke Varis Nalis (and yes, he insists on being called by his title) wandered off into the deeper woods his elven family ruled over one day and ended up wandering into the Feywild. A century later he wandered back as an Archfey patron warlock.

He also found out his family had given him up for dead and made his younger brother the heir. Varis adventures for power and to reclaim his dukedom (killing his brother isn't off the table.)
