He’s very much 6th in the pecking order. If we keep him it will be because of the homegrown squad rules.

Yeah but that's what I mean: I would assume if the thought was to keep him for those reasons, he'd at least get some minutes in cup games. It's not like he's a John Ruddy or Mark Gillespie. If he's not featuring at all even when we're playing every 3 days, I think it spells the end.

Oh I'm not saying we should keep him. I just thought today's team selection was particularly telling in terms of his future. His contract runs until summer 2026.
