Hungary is prevented from descending much further because of europe. with us help it will likely get much worse soon, unless the regime there collapses first. we will lose reserve currency status and run right into whatever the stagflation equivalent of the great depression is. plus nazis

I dunno but given Trump's previous track record during his first administration during the COVID pandemic indicates that his regime will be unstable and unsustainable in the long run and the collapse of the USA is pretty much inevitable as long as Trump remains in power.

We're haven't really been a democracy at the state level since Gill v. Whitford. If you read American Fascism, we're just reaching the conclusion of a very long arc. I really need to write an article about why our family made the decision to leave.

Part of me wonders if the USA is reverting to type, where some people have more universal rights than others. And where entrenched powerful interests dominate the political environment.

In other words, is this any different than the USA pre Teddy Roosevelt?
