Idk if this is embarrassing but Smash 4 was my first game in the series and it really made the best impression it could’ve. Plus being able to take it on the go was a huge benefit before the switch to me.

I wasn't very familiar with gaming culture on the internet before Smash 4 came out but it felt like the game was really popular as the current version of Smash after the (at the time) controversial Brawl, before Ultimate basically made it obsolete.
