very cool, I wish we had the option to watch it on something like crave in Canada but being able to watch collision on actual television the last couple of weeks has been pretty nice the tsn app is just not good.
I can't tell you how happy this makes me. The fact that #AEW is still doing great numbers on TV, AND is killing it on #Max? Yeah, they're not going away anytime soon.
It’s wild that instead of celebrating this, the majority of comments are about things other people are saying. I see way more “people hate on aew comments” than people actually hating on aew.
All television wrestling should be on easily accessible streaming services. I’d love to see MAX bring on the AEW ppvs for an easier viewing experience.
When I load Max on Thursday it has AEW on the home page, I click it and it shows me LAST weeks dynamite as the most recent one. I then go to search and put in Dynamite, and the most recent episode pops up. If I didn't know that I would think MAX has some 1 week limitation on showing replays.
For what it's worth, it's not just AEW programming that's harder to search for than it should be. I have issues sometimes with finding specific Food Network shows on MAX. The user interface is less than ideal.
They totally have some weekly limitation, or the app thinks it does. The thing is... it's a lot easier to find outside of the fucking app than inside of that app. Like, if you have max on prime or something.
This is great news. Hopefully they can hit on a tv formula that can boost ticket sales. Netflix clearly boosted WWE ticket sales. I’d love AEW to focus on younger talent with more focused storylines & less ‘heat’ angles.
I don't get why people can't just be happy that the wrestlers are doing what they love and putting food on their tables. Happy it's been a success for them!
Grifting and Rage Bait which drives engagement (fuckton of bucks too) which are alo incentivized on most social media platforms especially twitter. I mean if AEW did not happen imagine what guys like bischoff or that guys sean roasted is gon be talking about. Bischoff might have to actually work too
If Aew didn't exist, WWE wouldn't of been forced to change, punk would never of come back and all those wrestlers they were letting go would of either of never worked again, indies or tna possibly, but the big money and the ability to express their art would of been harder to come by.
And the contracts too like mann the leverage of the wrestlers have now is insane. That's why i have a problem with those guys that wont do the work like miro and black who think they can just waltz in there be top guy without putting the work.
Great points, competition is great when both sides make it healthy. I feel that if they both were to finally do business and work together for the betterment of the fans a lot of the toxic might go away. The Rock once said that he watches AEW. With his sway, it could work. It's only a dream though.
I love the fact that i can come home after work, eat dinner, shower & start Dynamite a hour before it starts on TBS. So when I end the show at 9, I won't have to worry about missing anything because I need to take my dog out to do his business. 😁
I enjoy watching on MAX, but I really wish they would have picture-in-picture, and the zen screen really kills the atmosphere sometimes during commercial breaks.
A fair question. B/R Sports, at this time of year, livestreams NBA, NCAA Basketball, NHL, and MLS Soccer games on Max weekly. The good TNT coverage of NBA too. So, AEW being among the top live streams right now is pretty significant.
But the people on that other site said max was disappointed with the numbers and aew was about to go bankrupt and Tony khan is gonna roam the streets begging for change! What happened?
I've seen so many people on here, who don't discuss wrestling really, talk about how the Max deal brought them back to watching because they didn't have cable.
I had no idea there were so many people like that. Not like, hardcore wrestling fans. Just people.
I used to work for a cable company and the amount that people pay for it is insane it usually run them $85 - $150 a month and thats the lower tier packages. Some people order AEW ppv and if only i can tell them to just order it via Triller. Max is a game changer for a lot of people and it's cheaper
Literally, that first simulcast, I kept thinking to myself, "damn, they must've upgraded the cameras!" And then reminding myself that no, I just got used to watching in 480p😭
I wish New Japan World was better. I tried it. The picture was much better, but it had terrible interface management, like I couldn't jump forward and back, or save the point I was watching for future watching etc. It got annoying.
I'm too much of a New Japan casual to rationalize paying for a streaming service specifically for it. I'm done with sticking with the current setup for them
Same! I haven't had cable since 2020 and been using the same method to watch now I get to watch it live and not have to worry about the stream going down and having to refresh until it comes back up! 🤣🤣
Oh I totally gave up even trying to watch live. Streams are so iffy and I get too annoyed if it buffers and I miss stuff. Plus I work most Wednesday evenings, so I'm almost always watching replays anyways
You comparing one station to all of cable. You need to compare apples to apples. Just look at youtube tv for example. Its now up to like $80 per month and that is not even including local sports. Also Max, Hulu, Disney etc all used to be super cheap per month and now are expensive
I haven't had cable for 25 years as well. I understand. I just am completely lost that there were so many fans that want to watch, but didn't figure out a stream or something.

Good for #AEW
I hope it continues to do well and grow over the next few years.
Having them around has been great for wrestling

People have been trained to think a monopoly is the default for the wrestling business.
Things have gotten better under HHH, but this is a sad reality.
Literally every statistic shows this.
Some crossover like we have now is good, but if everyone is on the same page then it could be disastrous for talent.
Skmeone gets fired in an ugly fashion. Other companies may not want to work with them for the sake of the relationship
Ryan Nemeth got fucked over in AEW, he probably isn't getting signed to WWE because Punk works there.
The TNA/WWE relationship could fuck him over.
Imagine, everyone has to be on their toes like that.
I had no idea there were so many people like that. Not like, hardcore wrestling fans. Just people.
It's been a great perspective 🤼
MAX has been a gamechanger
I've been watching a lot of stuff on Max besides wrestling. Hands down they have the best movie selection for a paid service.
It’s a weekly show
IDC who they watch, wrestling is alive and well
But there's just lots of different perspectives and people. I learned something about the audience I didn't know, and that's good enough for me.
