The fact she said her colleagues privately agreed with her, then when she spoke out publicly, they were all silent and she was left as a ‘lone voice’. How cowardly.

Although I think she is a great bishop… it would cause massive issues across the world becos the Archbishop of Canterbury is the head of CofE world wide & some nations don’t accept women priests let alone bishops or archbishop!

Yes. Then it’s about time they moved on with the times. Or would they rather choose a man who sat back and perpetuated the lies by not speaking up… that says a lot about the Church and would show they have learnt nothing from this. Unsurprisingly.

This is churches mainly in Africa & some in Asia… it would be interesting to see if they put there sexism aside, at present many of the African churches don’t allow women priests.
