Seems like everyone is gonna focus on the "accidentally adding a journalist" part, which is funny, granted, but the "USING SIGNAL FOR WAR PLANNING" part is what we should be focusing on because it's, yaknow, ILLEGAL.

Let’s please not overlook that we aren’t even at war with Yemen—the Saudis are. …tho of course the “war on terror” gives us permission to bomb whoever the President feels like, apparently.
I kinda thought big balls hooking his private laptop up to agency systems was going to be a bigger deal but that didn't seem to bother anyone but us IT nerds. Government procurement process isn't just about shoving money into Dell/HP hands, it also includes provisioning/security protocols.
Even worse than use of Signal is that Signal would only be available on non-secure (and likely personal) devices. They were war planning on totally hackable devices, regardless of journalist or Signal.

It would be ridiculous not to assume they do this all the time.
It's the most obvious part of the crime *and it's the part Gabbard, Ratliffe, and Leavitt have already admitted*.
