These guys don't do as much of their own reporting these days, but considering Fantagraphics used to have a dedicated erotica line, they aren't timid about NSFW comics.

They haven’t covered a single Discordia Publishing book drop yet and we publish all the most renown classic underground spicy comics.

Most comics news blogs even passed on covering Larry Todds death last year.

Zero respect for the underground.

Well, they did cover Larry Todd's death at the Journal...

But I get your frustration. I think the Journal has limited resources, so what gets reviewed is whatever hits some writer's fancy. Trying to get coverage for indie comics has been no party for me either.

I’d love to see Omaha the cat dancer for a blast from the past feature. Both the characters and story are super well written and there’s a lot of relevant social topics involving sex and relationships.
