The school is doing EVERYTHING right. Sadly, I can't get a medication to calm my boy down. He's very controlling, violent, verbally and physically, and didn't care about anyone. He smacked his teacher ion the face yesterday. He has a little girl at school afraid of him. Something has to be done.

Talked to the principal and the guidance counselor those morning. They're also getting the autism lady to come to the school in a few weeks. They're also changing his programming so he's not in class as much.

Cory, I went thru a similar experience when my grandson was in kindergarten. It was a horrible nightmare not knowing what the next phone call would be. His pediatrician is great & we worked to get him on the right dosage & things turned around 100%. I feel so bad for him 😢....and you guys

And its sad that many don't understand the struggle of these kids. This is something they can't control and they need help! It takes soooo long to get help tho

Ain't that the truth though. Getting the right meds is proving to be impossible. Not even sure if it's ADHD or autism her has anymore.

Mine have both and it's the ADHD medication that has worked miracles. He see Dr. Lamond at the Janeway. She is so great and she is always just a phone call away.
It took a few tries to get the correct dosage but when we did, it made a HUGE difference.
