Ok so ever since I posted this observation I've had nothing but delays and train breakdowns and now I'm waiting on a glorified sidewalk of a station for a train that will finally bring me to civilization

Taking the train at the Netherlands/Germany border is always so wild as you literally go through a patch of dark forest and lose your phone and internet connection just before you emerge into a country where everything just looks familiar yet a little off and the locals speak a strange tongue.

Nothing to see here people, Nijmegen is a real place. No need to visit. Totally real. Kleef also real. All nice little towns on the border. But Berlin is a lot nicer.
The Wieven have been particularly grouchy today.
