In WW2 my auntie Phyllis (Phyl) dated a GI called Bob who was from Philadelphia. She never became a GI bride nor did she fall pregnant. Bob survived the war and started his own family in the US and for many years his family and my family kept in touch. Bob fought Germans & was our antifa. I'm proud
