Excellent fieldwork! This reminds me of raising tadpoles in my hometown as a kid, and expecting them to turn into frogs—which never happened because they were actually invasive common toads. It's fascinating to know how much there's to learn about ecology and climate, even close to home #ENVSCOMM25
