I know this is something I have trouble with, mainly because I always second guess my engagement if that makes sense. Am I saying something worthwhile? Could someone else say it better? Am I comfortable saying it to someone I don't know well?

He has always been my favorite… mainly because I never really liked Kirk that much and I haven’t watched any of the other shows.

Fun fact, when I taught Air Force ROTC leadership classes, I would use his leadership techniques as examples in the class.

Pfffft I forgot about Kirk.

Runner up is Janeway. I think she’s the most tested in difficult situations and in the end came out net positive.

Best captain is Sisko. If you need results, he’s the guy - and he wasn’t even supposed to be. He stepped up and made hard decisions FAST. Need more DS9.

I think it's the hardest one since more of it seems to build as a series, less episodic. You can't really just pick up random episodes as much as you can with other titles.

TNG: "Oh, a Riker episode!"
V: "Seven is saving the day again."
DS9: "Wait, where tf are we, wait.. how tf did THEY get HERE?"

These are the people who make things and work within the industry. They support one another, lift up others, teach, and buy things. They don’t tear each other down, it’s not competition. If you want to grow in the industry, the market, grow skills, make friends and connections, this is the place.

100%. It’s more difficult for writers now especially with the writing community to be more of a broadcast than support network. That said, finding likeminded ppl who may understand this might forge stronger connections sooner, one can hope. The hard work pays off if you gain loyal friends.
