Good the main perpetrator was thrown out cos of it. But what about those on the video that were there guzzling the champagne ? There were a good few birthday parties or gatherings outside in private gardens where people were arrested. Were they equally embarrassed with arrests ?

My Dad died of Covid in March 2020. 2 of us at his funeral, & despite living together, they tried to make us sit apart. It was hugely traumatic & I can't ever forgive the Tories, not just for partying and laughing, but for being able to walk into cushie jobs after losing jobs & seats in Govt.

It’s less punchy, but it ‘contributed’ to his fall. Lying to his party about his deputy whip, and the letter that challenged his version of events is what finally moved 59 ministers to resign. They went over that rather than his lying to the House. We should never forget what mattered to them most

I was particular amazed that the police would have searched the people bringing in booze to no 10, would know everyone who had attended the parties due to key card data, and actually caught people red handed when an alarm went off.

My friend's dad died of COVID.

My friend was burying this dad at a socially distanced funeral on the day that Johnson was partying in Downing Street. You can imagine how this has affected him.

It's so important that people don't forget what happened.

As a funeral celebrant, it was so hard taking funerals where family and friends had to sit apart in a chapel set out like a GCSE exam hall. And as a mourner, I couldn’t attend my aut/godmother’s funeral. I won’t forget.
