Yeah, I'm kinda in the same boat; I really do feel like I ought to just download my archives 'n' wash my hands of it but there's juuuuuuust enough of a thread left there that I wouldn't want to lose to make me hesitate.

I’m still holding out in the sliver of hope that either twitter explodes in itself and does the job for me, or Muskrat straight up dies and it just rots itself out. I don’t want to go nuclear on it but it’s also not a huge loss to me, y’know?

You're not alone. There's many platformS, though especially twitter, that I want to completely abandon but I don't want to miss the content form people who are dependant on those platforms to share their art.

I just hate how this has become a trend that no site can be reliable any more so people do have to keep jumping around. I don't blame people for staying on twitter because it was HUGE, but it doesn't hurt to start mirroring somewhere else when the main site is a nazi's dog bowl
