She really truly believed Trump when he said tariffs would be paid for by the countries he put tariffs on - and we (not Trump voters) were screaming at them “YOU PAY THE TARIFF” (one way or another. When you buy something from overseas you are essentially “the importer”, importers pay the tariff.
When I lived there the first time, I would be on the phone with a company giving my address & they would say: oh wow! How do you like living in Mexico? 🤦🏻♀️ I also believe it’s the only state to have USA on their license plates, because people are stupid 😂
