I’ve been caught in two electrical storms in my life, they are crazy. One time in the city, where the Lightning arced between buildings and one time in a hikers rest in the mountains of Romania. My dad thought the Russians were bombing. Incredible experiences.
Obviously I’ve encountered Lightning more than that 😂 but these times I was metres from multiple lightning strikes and it was literally awesome. Another good one was an electrical storm observed in the Atlantic from my coastline in north Devon. Spanned several miles.
I was in an electrical storm one night (Cloud to Cloud lightning) that was so bright you could drive your car with the lights off! It lasted all night! I can show you police reports claiming that you didn't need headlights! Was Zeus angry? It was one of the strangest things I've ever seen!
These were 2 tornadic super cells followed closely by a derecho. Sadly, people lost their lives and homes in these storms. 💔 One monster tornado picked a freight train right off the tracks, tossed a tanker car a football field away and leveled homes down to the foundation. It was absolutely surreal.
The wind took down many trees in these storms. North Dakota doesn't commonly get storms this intense/severe. It is also part of the great plains, so is not mostly forested. It's mainly farmland.
Me too.
Did you also accidentally learn about the Dehcho Indigenous people who live mainly in the Northwest Territories in Canada? It was also fascinating.
In 2012, a derecho hit Virginia with widespread damage and power outages. The storm brought straight-line winds of 70-90 mph resulting in multiple fatalities and left over a million people without power. I, too, had never heard the word. Very little warning.
It sure isn't like the city streets of metro Detroit! Many streets are lined along the easement with mature maples, oaks, and locust trees such that the entire street is canopied with solid to slightly dappled shade. They help to regulate temperatures and humidity on the ground below.
We have a mature walnut tree in our back yard that stands about 100 feet tall. They produce walnuts every other year and this year is going to be a hard-hat season! They green or husk is messy but it's hard to beat free protein!
From doing programming changes to IT systems over the past 31 years, I have gotten pretty good at the keyboard. And (when my nails are short) can type accurately at about 85 wpm.
Thank you! I am my own worst critic. I really wish they'd give us an edit button though. At least for the mobile app anyways. If I had a working laptop, I could write faster and more accurately than I can with this small screen!
We are setting records in terms of tornadoes and devastating storms this year. Hurricane season just started. We haven’t seen anything yet. I agree. God is angry because the country has turned into a hateful, authoritarian, fascist Hell hole. Even the so-called Christians are not kind and caring.
A horrible place to live would be in an apartment building where you have people above, below, left, and right, with a view into the apartments across the atrium.

Heat lightening?
Weather patterns are definitely changing.
We experienced 2 derechos in the recent past.
Very bad news!
Forests slow the winds down.

A monster storm 300 miles long with 70-90 mph winds!
Not ominous at all.
I thought this was a UFO video!
Then I saw the storm. Hope you are all safe.
After reading comments I see the vids subject is the storm weather
I thought it was the guy coming out/going in the garage

The moving dots are laser pointers.
These people did not all move in an hour ago.
