I handwrite all first drafts of my novels with a fountain pen, so can I claim my 3am purchase of ink a necessity even though I have a lot of ink already? 🤔 🖋️

That is such a beautiful set. I know on Reddit ppl have been complaining that Birmingham inks look a ot different than their swatches, but I have yet to try any
I’ve found they look a lot different in a pen versus a swatch, but that’s also understandable due to the narrower format of a pen versus “painting” a swatch. If you have a broader nib (I use a custom stub nib) they show up much better.
I also write my drafts with fountain pens and I hoard my workhorse inks whenever I can. It makes me feel worried a lot less about running out. 🤭 You're gonna use them all up anyway, right? Right??? 😂
