Sure, given 2 equal comparisons. Both are liabilities for different reasons. AD gets hurt, and Luka can't play D and is out of shape. A lakers team with AD. Do they win 1 game or win the series against Wolves? Both got better Mavs and Lakers, but I think Mavs won the trade, long term.

I get the Lakers needed a face to replace Lebron when he retires after next year. Luka will fit in and do well. Maybe they do win a championship in the next couple of years, but they will definitely need to add to the roster. The Mavs will prob dump their big three after next 2-3 yrs and free up $
