My brother has trisomy 21. Personally I didn’t have any prenatal testing, but if someone does that’s still not eugenics. And ableism is another concept altogether; don’t remember any ableist tropes in idiocracy. Thank you for replying. You seem very kind.
While not explicitly pushing for any type of sterilization, the message of poor and "uncivilized" procreation will lead to the downfall of society is at the very bit overlapping with a lot of eugenics premises. I will say the movie does promote being able to educate themselves by the end.
