Got the White Album at Christmas ‘68. As it had a blank sleeve my Mom walked over to see who it was by. Noting the b&w photos of each Beatle inside she asked who they were. “The Beatles, Mom”, I replied. She frowned, thought a moment, and said, “well, we’ve certainly supported THEIR drug habits”.
