I'm loving MuseScore and the consistent effort to improving it. As a guitar teacher I use MS and GP8, but GP is just so annoyingly limited in terms of engraving and formatting that I've moved to MS for about 80-90% of what I do. Eventually I'd like to move to it exclusively.

the changes to staves will be a game changer, i've had to do so many hacks in the past for ossia and similar things..

also omg "let ring" is a great quality of life feature, for some reason slurs were so annoying to work with for that

We've always allowed 4. Just go to the settings toggle in the top bar, and you'll find the options for v3 and v4 there. Just choose them and they'll appear in your top bar permanently.
