Oh gods, this is so sweet, gentle, and warm T-T
I am literally crying while watching this animation!
It looks amazing! Low framerate actually really suits your style and this scene!!!
Btw, do you have, like, a place with your lore and character stories?
I really like your designs and characters, and want to know more about thenlm if there is a way :D
(On a side note, I noticed the choice to use a massive pan for making the eggs xD It would make quite a thin and generally less runny fried or scrambled egg)
This is legitimately one of the most beautiful depictions of love I have ever seen in animation. I love the polaroids spread out on the table, the grass and curtains blowing in the wind gives such a calm and peaceful atmosphere and Asimov's ear twitch when Otillie sets down the food she's made 1/2
Is so comforting. The sound effects are crisp and clear and the song fits very well. The piece makes me think of my fiancée; waking her gently with a warm meal on a crisp autumn day and thinking back on our relationship and the love we share, the memories we made together. It's really beautiful 🥰
Aside from the lil cough at the very end of the video (as I think it adds so much and grounds the animation to reality), the Polaroids are honestly my favourite part of the whole thing. It was such a hard choice to pick which ones I wanted, ended up on some of my favourites, heh
I had more I wanted to say on the flow of liquids, like the stream and the egg sliding into the bowl. The choice of colouring also makes it feel like the sun is still rising over the horizon on a new day, or can be interpreted as the end of another romantic day full of love and cherished memories.
You manage to capture so many fine details that makes your art always feel so special, and intimate and the love you have for your characters, the love they have for each other, and your passion is something that really captivates me. It's really clear how much effort you put into what you create
OMG THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL. I love all the details and how warm it feels. The animation was done with a lot of care and love, and it transmits that so well 💙
Honestly kinda obsessed with magically lighting the stove, something about it just looks SO good (so does the rest, of course, I'm just a sucker for magic used for mundane things)
IT'S FINALLY DONE AAAA! Please let me know what you think of the overall animation (do bear in mind I'm very much a "fuck around and find out" animator as I'm still VERY new to it)

It's really well done and flows smoothly! The sound effects and music compliment the scenes. Personal opinion: 10/10 so cute!! On top of that it looks like it took ages to complete! Makes sense since moving scenes are harder than individual drawings haha
I think if I were going to offer commentary it would be that I think it would have benefited from a few more frames in a few places to smooth out the motion (setting down the meal, for instance)
but as someone new to your work: damn, I'm impressed
This is *really* impressive and smooth. For being very new to it, I wouldn't have been able to tell if you hadn't said as much. I also really like the little "fire spell under the pan" move, and the eggs are freaking smooth.
This is lovely! One thing Miyazaki always tries to impart are the little moments of home/daily life. Capturing that kind of solace is hard, but you seem to have an eye for it.
And I wouldn't've known you were just starting out in animation unless you told me. Your art style lends to it well.
Could use some extra in-between frames, but oh gee this is so soft and sweet just like the rest of your art, but seeing it animated is even better. Those curtains flowing are really impressive and gorgeous.
you've become one of my new fave artist!!!!!!! i really love your ocs and how soft and gentle eveythin feels!!!!!!!! if your art was a food i think it would be a soft and sweet cake!!!!!!!!!!
This is so lovely! It's just really cute. Makes me think of the nice moments in Life is Strange. Nothing bad happening, just the two leads being together with relaxing vibes.
I'm thinking about experimenting with animation but nothing so elaborate as this. Maybe I'll try Procreate Dreams.
I normally don't comment, but this is gorgeous and adorable! I always consider it a special treat to come across your art, and it's especially delightful to see it come to life in animation. You've cultivated such a sweet, warm, cozy, and loving aesthetic here, it really is beautiful ❤️
This is such a beautiful animation spindle! I especially love the little ear twitch Asimov gives when the food is served, I love how pretty the lighting is too! 🫶🫶🫶
whole thing from start of concepting to finish took around 15-16 hours!
honestly I used a lot of trickery to give the illusion of detail- so i don't have to spend too much time on it
well, CSP says 14 hours and 40 minutes, including making the concept. Add in extra 2ish hours as I stitched together each scene (as I'm limited to 24 frames per timeline in CSP Pro) in a different video editor, and added the sound effects and camera movement
It’s, genuinely so comforting that i have ran out of words to actually describe any of the details, everything feels soft and comforting, from the lineart to the pacing, its both impressive and weirdly calming, like a cup of your favourite coffee or a plate of comfort food.
This is so wonderful, and it showcases your art style brilliantly. I love your work, but this is sublime, above and beyond the high standard you've already set.
Still can't get over how fantastic this is! So many little details give so much life to your animaton. The constellation in the flames, her ear wiggle and little cough at the end. You should be so proud. Its such a joy getting to see your characters being given so much life and charm when animated!

What I'm saying is the vibes are very appealing and I like them.

Granted some "filler" scenes are pretty much a still image with the least animation- and they make up half the animation, so it makes sense
Thank you nonetheless!! I really, genuinely appreciate it 🙏🙏 ❤️

So cozy, the lighting, the pictures, the music... everything is just... *chef's kiss*
Phenomenal work! ❤️
Really lovely work, its very warm and cozy. The little ear wiggle was adorable.
Its pretty dang nicely done, I'd say you did good at conveying the warm and loving atmosphere of the scene.
I grew up watching Kiki's Delivery Service and this is heartwarming. Like the scene of Kiki cooking with the old woman.

thank you for gracing my timeline with this today 💖🥹
