For me some of your designs circumvent expectations. Like the warlock design recently gore against the brooding visage one things of with this type of conjurer. But I also appreciate the ‘liveliness’ of your designs. There is a sense of active energy to them
funnily enough, that was part of her story. Anna didn't become a warlock by choice, she was drunk af when she made a pact with a very *very* obscure patron- said patron actually loves and cares about Anna in a very motherly way, but Anna will take none of it, so it's her mission to undo the "curse"
Your characters almost always give me the impression that they're comfortable (sometimes you make them uncomfortable on purpose). They look like they're feeling something, every time, and not just posing. They're always self expressive
Your style and technique conveys a lot of emotion in general.
It's hard to describe the exact feeling your characters evoke to me but it's just this warm lovely feeling of adorable and comfy. Both in their designs and the situations you put them in. It's like a warm summer day with a cool breeze where you can just sit there and relax.
Aside from them being generally pretty, I like how much character you put into a single frame. Through posture and facial expression I get more of an idea what your characters are feeling than I usually do from a photograph.
I've said before that I absolutely love how you draw hair, but I also love the intimacy they show toward each other. The warmth, comfort, and trust they show toward each other is so real and beautiful. It actually makes me tear up.
They’re unique, hand drawn and animated type characters without the… “bloat” that comes with a lot of shounen style anime/manga-esque art (think GINORMOUS bewbies, etc).
You pull off sexy/intimate/playful w:o being just lascivious.
The outfits you give seem “lived in” - not just “let’s look sexy” or badass or whatever, then put back in the wardrobe artist’s arsenal for later. They’re often cute, or sexy (depending), but they seem choices the CHARACTERS would make or think about.
My wife and I say it pretty often when we see your art of your couples. It's very real. Not in the sense of the subject matter, elves and bunny girls and all that, but the soft moments. The candid like snapshots of their life together. It's intimate in a way that feels warm and loving and familiar ❤️
I'm sure that's not quite what you meant, but I needed to say it, I always look forward to seeing what you've made and the characters you create. They're wonderfully adorable, memorable, and bring such a smile to me and my wife's faces ❤️
There's a sort of natural nonchalance about your gesture work that never feels like they are being posed... if that makes any sense. Their clothing always feel like clothes that someone would actually want to wear. Also, your expression work is so vivid and gives them tons of personality.
I mean outside the sapphic reverie. The very simple (positive) outfits paired with that clean rounded semi real art style, gives your characters this really fluffy and joyous vibe. Also having them in these comfy scenarios on top of everything else just burns them into my brain.
There is nothing simple about simplicity. Your characters are absolutely recognizable and distinct, and anything simplistic about them is only because anything unnecessary or cluttered is stripped away for the sake of clarity and to place emphasis on the things that matter in the work.
Your stuff has always had the same feel as FFT and Vagrant story. It feels like everything you put in your designs is deliberately put there and has some kind of reason behind it. Tie that to the body language and emotion in the faces, everything feels "right"
The way the characters skin looks is really well done, the details there are incredible. Love the expressions on the characters, particularly eyes and the blush under them. The outfits you pick are super good too very unique fun looking stuff.
I love how varied they are from simple day to day clothes to whimsical hyper complex fantasy garments to classy elegant or rough punky cyberpunk clothing, let alone how varied the characters themselves are personality, temperament & colour wise. I also think they match your artsyle and feel "homey".
They’re very cute, very gay, and give me a LOT of gender envy. I can actually see myself as them when I truly think about it hard enough and that always makes my day a little bit better
I love how your characters can be depicted in a goofy way, but they can also be depicted in such a genuinely beautiful way, that makes them feel more like real people and makes them easier to empathize with. +
+ Also, the amount of effort you put in them (in lore, world building and design) is genuinely amazing.
I think I remember you mentioning how you apply certain colors and shapes to your characters so that they are more recognizable (Asi with blue and round shapes, Oti with green and square shapes)+
shape design is primarily what I think of when starting a character. It's an integral part for me because the shape will dictate everything from personality to all the different variations of them. im still considering talking more in depth about my process, but im not too sure how to go about it
Your artstyle is just gorgeous, and i love the facial expressionq you give your characters, i'm always like "Damn she would make a great cómic book author"
Also, since we live hundreds of KM appart with my gf, the cute moments between Asimov and Ottili really help us projection our futur life
If I had money, my dream is to create a publishing house really dedicated to helping it's artists and i would honestly contact you to try and work with you. Your charadesign are so diversified and both in look and outfit, and you always manage to give them life when in movement.
Which is something I see a lot of people struggling with (Like when someone notice how the outfit which is great on the character sheet is a bother in action). I have rarely seen someone managing to give live to such cool charadesigns that consistently.
part of it is the simplicity , simpler designs are easier to recreate. I do wish I can go more layered with them tbh, but my brain just automatically goes for simple designs against my will
not a bad thing per se, but eh, i need to do more variations i feel
I have no knowledge of character design so, as a layman, i'd say
The colors and facial expressions are the thing that stand out the most to me, since the same characters sometimes use different clothes
they have really cool expressions and the clothing is always intricate in a way i dont expect and they're very gender (cant word better than that for the last part, its just the trans sixth sense of Gender:tm:)
I love characters who are mostly human with a little bit of animal characteristics and am also so, so gay for sapphic representation in art. The way you portray it is so, so good 💖
I love your use of colors, the more washed-out kind of look, skin tones are also really well done. I love the way you draw hands especially, but overall your character work is a vibe.
They are simple, but in a certain way that is a good thing, they looke relaxed and comfy, maybe they are not as recognizable, but I think the art style helps stating a unique personality.
Also, the good range of emotions is really good 👌🏻
I appreciate how grounded your characters look, both in terms of outfits and body type. There's a level of simplicity to your designs without sacrificing visual appeal. That groundedness extends to their interactions as well, and feels natural.
glad to hear that! a major thing for my outfit designs is that I want them to be "real" in the sense that they would be something that can actually exist in their world, even in ours to some extent, rather than complete fantasy
They feel natural, from the expressions to little imperfections like the stray hairs and whatnot, but at the same time those imperfections are serious details. Your color choices, outfits, and the soft lighting techniques you use in a lot of your work are a part of it too.
There's a fantastic level of consistency that ties all the different styles and content together. Best I can relate it to is Star Wars in the way that you show lots of variety.. sci-fi, fantasy, modern.. but it's still all so easily recognizable as your own, unique world that I wish I was part of
I can't quite articulate the exact aesthetic that appeals to my or my partners' enjoyment of your work, it kinda boils down to:
You draw good. Characters pretty. Characters look at eachother lovingly. Makes heart happy.
every time I see one of them I immediately think "dude i want my next video game character to look like that!" they all look like they'd be great RPG protaganists. with fucking awesome hair. the hair is always dope as hell.
What stands out for me (as a complete art layman but enjoyer) is how your characters appear (emphasis on that) simple at first glance, and have an easy style to them and their poses, but upon even a slight deeper look you can tell how much care, detail, and effort is in there for each one.
it is part of why I've been posting close ups, not necessarily just of my detailed pieces. I take pride in the little stuff I add and I want more people to see it!! As it's like you said, a simple passing doesn't show them all
Something I wanted to add specifically regarding Asimov and Ottilie (the lesbiab couple) is that I want their home and daily outfits to be rather something you'd actually see and wear, something comfy but not too overreaching, so I hope I'm achieving that
You're outfits have a wonderful flow to them, the fabric looks soft and comfortable with really gorgeous details. Something that I think is very specific to your designs is the skin details. Every character has moles, or stretch marks, or freckles, it's something small but adds so much character imo
It's not just them being lewd or hanging out or any one thing, but them being together and caring about each other and expressing their characters and personality across those situations.
It gives a real sense of 3 dimensional characters in the writing sense, not the image sense.
There's lots of artists that have a "thing" and just draw characters banging/resting/ fighting, or whatever.
NSFW art particularly tends to be just NSFW content, and while I *love* that stuff, I also love when someone uses that freedom to go places SFW can't, to add depth and range and realness.
Seeing that couple enjoy just being together, and being lewd, and going about their days, gives more context to the attention and detail in the gestures and expressions to give a sense of real characters that love each other and live together.
Beyond the individual pieces being beautiful and pleasing to the eye, being soft in ways that feel genuine, and being nuanced in expression to show characters that have depth and are fun
I would say its that context that adds depth that I like to the couple sets the pieces with them apart.
Honestly, if I had the money for a shopping spree at a store that actually has the casual clothes that you already draw them in, I’d try my hardest to look like them. But I guess that just gender envy in a nutshell, isn’t it? 😅😅😓
also i did ask something like this before, but this one specific to the designs and characters rather than the art as a whole! Though input on that is, of course, more than welcome! <3
i've always been self-conscious about my designs, I'm not sure if they're too simple, or too generic, whether they're recognizable, etc
character design is a big passion of mine, but while I'm confident in my art skills, i'm less confident in my character design, so I'd like to ask for your input!!
I think the simplicity might have a lot to do with what I like with your art. It allows the details to bring about a tenderness and intimacy that I like. The things you highlight about your characters within the illustrations feels like what you notice after just waking up next to someone you love.
oh i'd love to give you feedback but i only started following you a few days ago so i haven't seen a lot of what you have to offer!
i guess you'll just have to draw lots and lots of more art so i can see hahaha jk unless 👀
Well, I'm also on the simple designs side, but I think having fewer "moving parts" lets characters express themselves more clearly, be more naturally expressive, be more "in" a scene.
Your character design is a big part of what brought me to your page- I appreciate that they blend both real world ideas with the fantastical in a way that feels natural. They always feel like they have more going on than is immediately obvious, more than just a picture.
They are recognizable, your characters are cute, simple and... relatable ? It's more your art style that make them stand out I feel. And your design for clothes are more unique than what I usually see.
I agree with this so much. I don’t know how she does it, but it just feels like the women she draws have lived. They’re not just lifeless cute doll. It feels like we’re simply seeing a snapshot of their lives. And somehow this comes across through their design? It’s some crazy art sorcery.
_relatable_ is the word here! I agree with all of what was said here, but I wanted to reinforce how relatable these characters are, especially being lesbian myself. It’s the kind of characters that we all yell “me!” when they come to our feeds.
Off the top of my head, I think it's how authentic the designs feel. Not just in how their personalities come across, though there is that, but in how the physical designs feel like real people. I'm a big sucker for authentic representation, not just for trans women but for bodies in general.
I think you strongly encapsulates ideals like Less is More and when to also break it for a grander design. You're good at visual throughlines, with expressions that often showcase a character personality that compliments the visual design. All in all, very creative but with good restraint.
Honestly, what first drew me to your art was your beautiful slice-of-life images of Asimov and Ottilie, which are exactly the sort of thing I love to commission of my own elf+non-elf OC pair. (Comparisons below)
But I especially love how your backgrounds and clothes detail the setting they live in!
To build on that though, I love how deeply but comfortably in love with each other they look, and how you don't even need to stick to the same hairstyle/clothes/etc to keep them clearly identifiable.
Well, I like the simple style you draw them, while they have very beautiful and calm designs, most of your drawings look "calm" or "cozy". Also, nowadays I see a lot of complex but generic designs, yours somehow seems quite unique, maybe because of your stroke.
i don't know if this makes sense, but theres a softness in your designs and art that gives a realness to everything. And the body anatomy is basically divine
I feel like I get a pretty quick sense of their general personality and vibes. I also like that your characters have a lot of little details, but don't feel like visual noise.
I like how you depict romantic situations between characters. It feels very intimate and reminds me of moments I've spent with my boyfriend. Facial expressions are also really nice and I like how detailed the outfits are
you have a really good eye for designing clothing and characters' outfits, imo. like to the point that it's often the first thing I notice. very thoughtfully put together and your art style makes them feel real, if that makes sense
Very warm and soft
Sensual
Their expressions feel genuine, not cartoonish (unless that is your intention)
All of this coupled with the fantasy setting, the rendering, and soft color palette you choose makes your art pieces feel like I'm peeking into another world. One I'd like to live in for sure
I appreciate your willingness to make them patently unsexy/put them in normal, boring, embarrassing situations. A particular example, Asimov just absolutely wiping out on the snow.
I just discovered your account yesterday, but I really like how your posted works look and feel like they were done with color pencils from a sketch book. They feel very organic with all the crazy details you can find zooming in and truly looking at them. It’s very easy to enjoy your passionate work
Attention to detail, good expressive faces, interesting details on just about everything that help to convey the character's design, and the fun mix of mundane scenes/positioning and the fun odd ones sort of winking at the fact that you're making an image rather than taking a picture. Asimov's ears.
Especially when it comes to Ottie and Asamov (I am fans of them the most), the moments we see are just them being loving and wholesome (even when those moments are NSFW) sapphics and this is how they go about their days.
As it is with IRL people, they're simple at first but the more I look the more I find to love about them. Little flourishes here, a little extra sofy hair there.
The designs and story obviously help. Soft, warm love in a time where that feels lacking is a balm to the soul.
I really like how Asimov and Ottilie art feels like everyday couple moments that stick with you because of the little things reminding you why you love them, if that makes sense. Like, it's so ordinary but you're going to take that memory with you forever.
The simplicity is what makes them memorable for me. Traits are distinct without being too busy (gacha games...). Their clothes feel real and practical, like they wear them every day. Consistent motifs across their outfits help, like Asimov's gold trim. And good body language/faces for personality!
And most of your characters are exactly my type, so that sure doesn't hurt lol... Also love how you can change their outfits without losing the character's style. And how their outfits show their character (like Ottilie never wearing pants). Conveying personality is my #1 benchmark for good design!
Linework is delicate yet clear, colors look soft and blended nicely yet bright. I like that your characters always look so intricately and comfortably dressed, and their expressions are well done and clear. They also tend to "fit" into the world you create for them on the occasion you draw a scene-
- if that makes sense. And they always seem to be more than just "portrait of x" but more like there's a bit of their story sprinkled into the design or scene which makes me want to know more.
Your characters have excellent facial expressions that show what they're feeling. Your posing is dynamic and interesting. I especially like your colors and soft lines. Thanks for sharing your art.
I'm always struck by how elegantly you display all the Very Large gambit of emotions they feel! It really makes the impact stick with any of your pieces <3
I love how soft and “tangible” your characters are. Your characters have a lively energy to their expressions and poses that makes them feel real despite clearly being drawn. They’re extremely relatable too!
My gf and I see ourselves in your art of Oti and Asimov being gay for and with one another!
Design-wise, the more simple outfits your characters wear are both cute and practical, and help to keep the viewer’s focus on the characters themselves. I don’t think they’re generic at all.
Each of your characters are dressed distinctly and in a way that shows their personalities at a glance.
Your art/designs always feel very rooted in reality. All of your characters give this natural, blissful vibe that is extremely comforting. It's as if I am seeing the world in another person's eyes, experiencing their life.
How you draw their eyes, their haircuts (and the hair flow), and how clothes are "simply detailed" (by that I mean, there are not too much things going on on their design, but we can still see details on it) and varied.
And they always look so LIVELY on all your illustrations !
They're expressive, cute, sexy. They feel the right amount of real which makes me happy when I see them and especially when I see them interact (with each other, or with the viewer for the hydration drawing).
As for the designs, I don't have much to say. Which might not sound encouraging, but it's also not a bad thing. They feel well rounded and complete, like this is how people in whatever setting it is would actually look like while also being visually interesting from an artistic perspective.
Well that works as well, I don't want to go too far that their fashion is too far unrealistic, rather, just something you'd actually see characters wearing!
I like how silly and goofy they get sometimes, it adds an air of endearment and that they also have a life and feelings that aren't just sitting there and be pretty. Asimov breaking her ass comes to mind as a good example.
I think it’s that most of the time they just feel kind of chill and comfortable. Just warm is the best way for me to say it. Design wise they feel grounded. Nothing about the designs is incredibly bombastic or over the top. I like designs like that aswell but it’s nice to see something different.
I always find their outfits to be really striking, even the simple ones. The style feels vaguely familiar, like something you'd see in a magazine or ren fair, but jumbled up so that it feels very alien. Like they're following fashion from a different universe (where cut-outs are very in, apparently)
Personality. A bunch of them are hot, yes but the personalities that shine through in outfits they wear, how they wear it, their response and reactions to one another all feed into liking them beyond just a superficial level.
This is gonna sound weird but I just get a lot of soft fft vibes like if there was ever a need for a Yuri Final Fantasy Tactics your character designs and art is the first thing you pop into my head
I like how alive they feel. I get a vibe from them, like they're fully fleshed out characters from a long running show, that I don't normally get from OC art. Also the art itself is just so pleasing to look at. The detail and style is always insane.
that's honestly the biggest compliment. Even I feel like I'm discovering them rather than creating them, as they feel like they already exist (if that makes any sort of sense)
the characters feel vibrant and lively. Seeing how you draw the mood of the scenes your characters are in has the same vibe as walking into a house that's been well lived in and taken care of. they feel warm and expressive and I can believe that they live lives away from the still images
I like the balance you strike between realistic rendering and stylized characters with white hair and elf ears :> I also like how simple and recognizable they are at the same time
One thing ive always noticed is the details with skin, like moles or freckles, beauty peeps etc may say its imperfections, but i think its what MAKES it perfect, makes the characters seem so alive and real!!
...(I like freckles) XD
I like the way you portray most if not all of your characters, from the intimate moments to the outright works of art with how deep you go into detailing, like with the legposting.
I like how cute and warm they are. Warmth is a good word for your artstyle and I'm always happy to see more 💙
No worries!
Maybe it’s a side-effect of how you design clothes to be something that’s comfortable to wear, but I look at these clothes and go “huh, they must travel a lot, through trails and such.”
This applies to characters like Asimov, too. https://bsky.app/profile/aidenr0.bsky.social/post/3lp5zkm4nzs2h
Your characters also have more open outfits, but they also have traveling cloaks and such, which makes it seem like they have multiple outfits for different traveling conditions/weather. It might be a “vibes” thing or a part of the fantasy aesthetic, but I get the sense they travel the countryside.
that's the vibe I go for indeed, a lot of my characters' do mostly travel in rural and countryside areas, cities not so much (especially with Asimov and Ottilie due to lore reasons I can explain later)
but I'm just a sucker for open outfits and them being "Easy" to handle if that makes sense!
There are a lot of things I like but to pick out a big one, I really like the clothes and poses. They're unique and sometimes stylised but the characters still seem like they're effortlessly comfortable and "At home" with what they're doing, if that makes sense.
I don't want to be reductive at all, but I think for me a bit part of the appeal is the... tastefulness of their designs and proportions. A lot of lewd-ish art depicts ridiculous characters in ridiculous outfits and situations. For me, the relatability of your art is a bit part of the appear.
I love the simplicity you give your designs while keeping them visually engaging. The details are purposeful with a focus on texture and balance and not over designed
idk if that makes sense
Over all your art gives a warm cozy vibe.
Also those legs you painted? You’re a madman they came out amazing
I guess this is more your style, but I like their general softness and how cute they are? They look like they're having fun in most of your art, and their designs are simple in some ways but distinct enough to be distinguished.
also they often have fantasy or scifi elements but those elements always end up looking and feeling practical, or real I suppose. they look like they're living, not just existing, if that makes sense
I had to think a bit on this. In terms of designs, your characters are very distinct and recognizable. I especially like how you draw facial expressions and skin detail (moles, freckles, etc). Really makes them feel more alive
As for depictions, I haven't followed for a very long time, so I don't know too much about your characters (but I'd love to learn more). What I have seen is that you are able to convey personalities very well in your art. At a glance, I can tell if a character is serious or being silly for example
asimov's and ottilie's designs are both pretty simple and classical, and that's def the best thing about them <3 they feel very down-to-earth and relatable this way ^^
The poses and the expressions. You make your characters look and feel so real with the subtitles and details. The clothing and outfits are also really nice.
They do have soul - as in, character. They look and behave like real individuals in a functioning world. It's genuine slice-of-life reflected well in your style.
Comments
Your style and technique conveys a lot of emotion in general.
You pull off sexy/intimate/playful w:o being just lascivious.
The lighting is a mood.
1 of 2 (I hope)
The outfits you give seem “lived in” - not just “let’s look sexy” or badass or whatever, then put back in the wardrobe artist’s arsenal for later. They’re often cute, or sexy (depending), but they seem choices the CHARACTERS would make or think about.
The humanity.
2/2
it both helps me stay consistent, but also makes it hard to do layered designs when I can't justify to my brain why I'm adding more details, heh
But also your character design in general is incredible?? It has such a unique flair to it that immediately draws the eyes imo.
I think I remember you mentioning how you apply certain colors and shapes to your characters so that they are more recognizable (Asi with blue and round shapes, Oti with green and square shapes)+
I also fw your cyberpunk designs a lot (Tether is actually peak fiction 🙏)
Also, since we live hundreds of KM appart with my gf, the cute moments between Asimov and Ottili really help us projection our futur life
not a bad thing per se, but eh, i need to do more variations i feel
Also skin rendering details are just *chef kiss*
The colors and facial expressions are the thing that stand out the most to me, since the same characters sometimes use different clothes
- So much warmth
- Great, creative concepts and designs
- Lovely, dynamic poses
Also, the good range of emotions is really good 👌🏻
You draw good. Characters pretty. Characters look at eachother lovingly. Makes heart happy.
But what I love about the pieces with them is not just the individual art, but that across them they show a range of 'human' experiences.

I would say its that context that adds depth that I like to the couple sets the pieces with them apart.
they are somehow unique and "normal" at the same time often
I love sending their pictures to gf with "us"
I would probably pay for access to something like that.
character design is a big passion of mine, but while I'm confident in my art skills, i'm less confident in my character design, so I'd like to ask for your input!!
(If it doesn't... Sorry😅)
i guess you'll just have to draw lots and lots of more art so i can see hahaha jk unless 👀
Which is what I like about your characters!
Big fan of the body proportions you use in your art, as well as your colors and overall shapes, plus I love legs.
I mean, you make it feel like they're just going about their daily lives right now...
They are also beautiful 🤗
But I especially love how your backgrounds and clothes detail the setting they live in!
Sensual
Their expressions feel genuine, not cartoonish (unless that is your intention)
All of this coupled with the fantasy setting, the rendering, and soft color palette you choose makes your art pieces feel like I'm peeking into another world. One I'd like to live in for sure
Even though your art is stylized there is always something about your characters that feels very real and has good texture.
Your choice of bright shading always helps too, it looks full of life.
Every time you post, it feels like a natural moment. Nothing staged. Just completely candid.
It's a hard vibe to nail down. And you've always done it so well.
The designs and story obviously help. Soft, warm love in a time where that feels lacking is a balm to the soul.
I will be normal about them.
Why is there a skeleton dude laying around you? Bring him back from where?!
I feel like I'm learning about them like you are doing, kek, thank you for the input btw!!
My gf and I see ourselves in your art of Oti and Asimov being gay for and with one another!
Each of your characters are dressed distinctly and in a way that shows their personalities at a glance.
There is so much heart in everything you make.
And they always look so LIVELY on all your illustrations !
> follow
I always feel like I can just fall into the wind of their world that we get to see through your amazing artWORK
Keep being your awesome self 🦾
I like the Expression you give to your characters
it's captivating
...(I like freckles) XD
I like how cute and warm they are. Warmth is a good word for your artstyle and I'm always happy to see more 💙
Design wise, I really like the “traveller” look that they usually have.
Maybe it’s a side-effect of how you design clothes to be something that’s comfortable to wear, but I look at these clothes and go “huh, they must travel a lot, through trails and such.”
