After lurking on twt for a long time with your art, I'm glad I'm brave enough to finally gush here about it and how stunning it looks. You never fail to pick out motifs that are so wonderfully painful to explore. The emotions you manage to create is vivid and crushing in all the best ways : )
I really love this piece!Reflections of yourself bounced back to you from others and the past are often the only way to truly know who you are, to have a clear sense of self and identity.This artwork makes me ponder what aventurine sees within that reflection and how it might be warped and bloodied.

I hope I'm not that repetitive in themes.
With that in regard, I do often picture him looking in a mirror with a pensive or unreadable expression, in a way, he 'hears' and sees too much simply by looking at himself (I can't explain....)
