This drives me up the wall. I've seen people arguing about this in a defence. Pretty sure the PhD who was testing methods in their population knows what works (and what doesn't)!
Nature/evolution never intended gender. Humans defined it. Chromosome variation exists to keep a species flexible and adaptable to the ever changing environment in which they live.
I’m currently pursuing a masters in forensic medicine and have taken a few osteology classes. People have no idea what goes into making a biological profile…and that’s if you have every bone…it’s exponentially more difficult with fragments.
