So close to the sea, its lowest point (left side of image) is only 5m away from its surface, but thanks to the Red Queen’s tentacles, it currently hovers barely 3m away from the seas, making it an easy way to climb.

However, at the lowest points and peaks, policemen and knights are stationed.

The dream was a nightmare, an unwanted terror in an island lulling in peace.

That's so cool, I actually had a similar idea with an island where it's similar to this one that you've drawn, and now since the event happened... if there are tides, maybe during certain parts of the day with the tide is high the lowest part is submerged (VERY enticing for my OC to explore)!
