In all seriousness tho why is building a giant all purpose rocket so important? Why not focus on smaller well tested ones then perhaps construct the larger one for long range missions in space where it doesn’t need to do backflips and land itself with a massive payload.
Then you could like build as big a rocket as u want. Hell you could build a nuclear engine up there and cut travel times down to weeks. I don’t understand why they’re so all in on this one poop design
Literally build it like they built the ISS. He has other rockets that are clearly reliable and work.. use those to ferry parts up and build something in orbit...
Hell; build it BY the ISS. They make enough trips up to it anyway
Exactly. The smaller re-usables clearly work and take payloads. This.. Starship joke hasn't launched successfully once if I recall? and billions has been wasted on it.
General theory anyway says long distance craft for human travel will need to be built in orbit anyway.. so just start on it? x.x

SpaceX is NOT NASA.
Also, once functional, this rocket will save most of NASA's budget for science instead of launching.
You have no clue what you are talking about.
