Were some Palestinians antisemitic before Zionism became a thing? Yes. Did antisemitism in Palestine significantly increase directly because of Zionist atrocities supposedly done on behalf of the Jewish people? Also yes.

I think it is ridiculous to assert that the Palestinian resistance movement is motivated primarily by antisemitism and a desire to kill all Jews. It is motivated primarily by the hatred towards Israelis that have slaughtered their people and a desire for liberation.
It is also ridiculous to assert that Palestinians had a hand in the horrific injustices done towards the Jewish people by Europeans and Arabs in other countries. Again - why do they have to suffer for other peoples' crimes? There is no good reason for it.
But they did. That's my point. It's not that other Arab countries and the English were doing this and Palestine was from it. It was a problem for years.
There's a watchtower from Sfvat, created so the British could stop Arabs from going to the Jewish quarter to attack people.
I have photographs of the stairs themselves and the watchtower, but my phone is uncooperative.
Regardless, antisemitic violence isn't new. It's been in Palestine. Has it gotten significantly worse? Yes, of course. But let's not pretend that Palestine was a nice place to Jews before Israel.
