I get your point, man, but the whole red-state-poverty thing is the exact wrong model to try to illustrate it. Right war, wrong hill. It’s not about anyone “feeling” poorer because liberals bad, it’s about concrete policies that one side defends in lockstep to make “their” people extremely poor.
