totally agree i feel like deleting the comments is the way to go bc ao3 comments on someone else's story simply is not the place for those requests!!

but if you want to see a fic out there in the world, then you must write it! if you can't write, then practice. or give someone else funds to do so in exchange for goods and services rendered.

fic authors are not vending machines people can press to dispense stories about their favourite characters

we are people who write for nothing but the joy of it and the community that fandom/fanfic creates.

we write for a myriad of reasons, but mostly it's because we want to. for the joy of it! for the fun and whimsy of it!

so, let's not go into authors' fic comments asking them
