Waterfall Wednesday. This beautiful little waterfall is right off the trail that leads to Sol Duc Falls in Olympic National Park. I'm not even sure it has a name but it sure is beautiful. #photography #landscapephotography #waterfalls

I ordered a custom license plate from a photo I took in the Smoky Mountains of a stream tumbling over rocks. I used a 2-second shutter speed to get that lacy, misty. Your photo is better because of the green moss.
I think of a fairy tale when I view this. It looks like little fairies should be busily flying around and playing in the water spray. Oh geez I've been on the computer too long today.
I experienced my first ever waterfall this summer in South Wales. It was magical. The noise and power of the water blew me away. On a mission now, to visit more.
It may just be me, but I've never been a fan of whatever setting is used that makes cascades looks "blurry", I feel like it's taking away from the natural look. Great picture tho, I'm just a grumpy old fart!!!
Hey, we all like what we like! Shutter speed with water moving this fast is pretty tough. At least for me. This is actually a pretty fast shuttle speed. 1/2 second I think. Maybe faster. Even then there's some milk effect. I try not to get too milky as I don't like that either.

But I absolutely love waterfalls.
Moss blankets the forest floor, Time flows, soft and free.”
