I can imagine. It's another world when you're away from all the crazy & noise & fake stuff. I know it's time consuming work for photographers. Another art form you just gotta have a passion for it. I think we're all appreciative simple joys & nature right about now. So tks for sharing.

this may sound silly, but how do you get all this visibility if it’s pitch black to the naked eye? i tried reading some beginner astrophotography articles but they’re more focused on equipment, shutter speeds etc than the “how” behind it.
but i just think these are such cool photos!

Thank you. It's all in the processing. For sure, the raw image needs to be properly exposed. But after that, it's all Lightroom, Photoshop, and DxO Viveza. Much of what I do is increasing shadows. DxO is very good at that. So is Lightroom. It's all about the sliders in these programs.

Thank you, Sherri! I'm having fun with processing images made years ago. Someone told me about 10 years ago to make sure I capture raw images. I'm so glad I heeded their advice. The processing programs have advanced so much since then.
