I'm in the camp of recognize Taiwan, stop this one foot in/one foot out stuff of whether Taiwan is breakaway of China or it's own country. The PRC is a long way from being ready the longer we build Taiwan as its own country in the region the more it complicates when the PRC is ready capability wise.
