I don't get the emergency preparedness concern. Tweet once a month for four months that the account will be closing. Anyone actually following will know. Then in an emergency, people will find the new alert service. It'll be in the TC. It'll be widely announced. In an emergency people pay attention!

I'll try to get one to UBCM that will have UBCM members make the official position one that owing to safety issues, concerns about data security, and the behaviour of their CAO that UBCM recommends local govs avoid buying Teslas.

The best thing we could do to stick to the US is to get off our addiction and dependency on cars. Upzoning in walkable areas, more transit, more bike lanes, that'll stick it to them! And make our city more resilient if it ever does come to a serious trade war that would see fuel costs skyrocket.
